01

Raising a concern

Little Leaps promotes open, transparent communication and welcomes feedback, concerns and complaints from parents, staff and stakeholders. Concerns can be raised in writing, by email or face to face.

Complaints are handled objectively, confidentially and fairly, safeguarding the dignity and rights of everyone involved. Comprehensive records of complaints, actions taken and outcomes are maintained securely.

Formal complaints should be addressed to the Manager and sent by email to contact.us@littleleapsdaycare.co.uk. Complaints are normally acknowledged promptly, typically within 48 hours, and resolution is prioritised within 28 working days from receipt. Outcomes and any subsequent actions are communicated clearly in writing.

02

Appeals, monitoring and learning

If someone is dissatisfied with the outcome, they may submit an appeal in writing, outlining the reasons and any supporting evidence. Appeals are reviewed objectively by an independent person or designated representative not involved in the initial complaint.

Complaints and resolutions are monitored and reviewed to identify trends, recurring issues and opportunities for improvement.

03

Contacting Ofsted

Parents can contact Ofsted if they believe EYFS requirements are not being met. Ofsted can be contacted through official GOV.UK routes, including the complain about childcare guidance and the Ofsted complaints procedure.

Ofsted's childcare concerns or complaints number is 0300 123 4666. For general enquiries, Ofsted can be contacted on 0300 123 1231 or by email at enquiries@ofsted.gov.uk.
