About this policy

This policy explains how Little Leaps Day Care Limited (“Little Leaps”, “we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on this website.

It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. Contact us at contact.us@littleleapsdaycare.co.uk if you have a question about these technologies.

02

What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small pieces of information stored on a computer, phone or tablet. Websites may use them to remember choices, maintain security, understand how a service is used or support third-party features.

Similar technologies include local browser storage, tracking pixels, scripts, tags and device identifiers. This policy uses the word “cookies” as a convenient description for all of these technologies unless we need to distinguish between them.

03

The main Little Leaps website

Our current main website does not intentionally use advertising cookies or first-party visitor analytics. Its fonts, images, mascot artwork and animations are delivered as part of the website or use fonts already available on the visitor’s device.

Essential technology may still be used to deliver and protect the website. The website also uses a first-party preference item called ll_privacy_preferences, stored as local browser storage or a cookie depending on the visitor’s browser, to remember privacy choices for up to 180 days.

04

The Book a Visit form

Our Book a Visit page now uses a native Little Leaps form built into this website. The form collects the details needed to respond to a visit request, stores the submitted enquiry in the website database for up to 30 days and sends a notification email to the Little Leaps team.

The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile as a strictly necessary security service to distinguish genuine visitors from automated submissions. Turnstile processes limited browser, device and interaction signals for that purpose and does not receive the information entered into the form.

Turnstile pre-clearance is disabled on this website, so the widget is not configured to issue Cloudflare’s cf_clearance cookie. It still uses scripts and related browser technology from challenges.cloudflare.com to perform and validate the security check.

This list reflects the website technologies and supporting services identified in our pre-launch review. It will be updated if website features, booking services or tracking technologies change.

Your choices

Where consent is required, optional technologies should remain disabled until the visitor makes a choice. Visitors should be able to accept optional technologies, reject them or manage individual categories without losing access to the general Little Leaps website.

A permanent Cookie settings link in the footer allows visitors to revisit their choice. Withdrawing consent will not affect processing that took place lawfully before withdrawal.

07

Accessing the booking form

The Book a Visit form is part of the website, so visitors can submit a visit request without loading a separate embedded form provider.

Visitors who prefer not to use the form should still be offered another reasonable way to contact the nursery, such as telephone or email.

08

Browser controls and changing your mind

Most browsers allow visitors to view, block or delete cookies and other stored website data. Blocking essential storage may affect how some services work. Browser controls are separate from the choices provided by the Little Leaps website.

Instructions are normally available through the browser’s privacy or security settings. On shared devices, the most recent user’s preferences should be respected.

09

Third-party responsibility

Third-party providers may change the technologies they use. Their use of information is governed by their own terms and privacy information, while Little Leaps remains responsible for making appropriate choices about the services placed on its website.
