Fully Trained Staff
All of our Little Leaps employees are all trained and qualified to a high level and ensuring continuous development at all times. This helps us ensure that the childcare we provide to our families is of the highest quality. All of our Little Leaps employees are fully DBS checked and Paediatric First Aid Trained and this includes our apprentices.
Healthy Food
As part of curriculum, we ensure that children are able to access a variety of healthy fruits and vegetables every day when they visit us at both our settings. Working in partnership with parents to ensure children can have a healthy, well-balanced diet.
Learning
Children’s development and access to good quality education is a priority within our settings. All of our curriculum and planning is catered for each child’s individual needs. We work closely with parents to ensure good communication and relationships are made to make the transition to our setting as smooth as possible for both parents and children.
Uniform
We offer a uniform for all our children at both our settings. These start from age 2. Please contact us via email for an order form.
Our Basildon Little Leaps Setting offers a home from home environment. We are open from 7am to 8pm Monday to Friday 50 weeks a year. We are closed for public holidays and Christmas period. We have a warm and stimulating environment which is set around our children’s interests and focused learning. We ensure that our resources are accessible to children enabling free play and independence. We have an all-weather garden with a variety of resources and equipment that caters for children from as young as birth to 12 year and beyond.
Our Grays Little Leaps Nursery is open Monday to Friday, Term Time only. We open at 730am until 6pm We offer 15 Hours Free Early Years Entitlement for qualifying 2 Year Olds. We offer 15-30 Hours Free Early Years Entitlement for qualifying 3 & 4 Years Old. There is an Out Of School club for Quarry Hill Academy students which is available Monday to Friday, Term time only from 7am-9am and then 3pm-6pm.
